Rachel Grant, MScPT, BKin, completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta. She began her career at AST as a clinic assistant during her undergraduate studies, gaining valuable hands-on experience working directly with patients and alongside the clinic’s multidisciplinary team.
Rachel is certified in dry needling and has completed Level 1 Advanced Orthopedics. She has additional training in treatment of temporomandibular (TMJ) conditions, and is certified in level 1 & 2 of vestibular therapy by taking her course work through the Dizziness and Balance Rehabilitation Clinic.
She is committed to helping patients live healthier, pain-free lives by building strength, restoring function, and supporting them in achieving their lifestyle and performance goals. Her treatment approach emphasizes patient education, therapeutic exercise, injury prevention, and manual therapy to promote healing and a successful return to the activities her patients enjoy.
Rachel’s passion for health and movement stems from her own athletic background. She has competed at the highest level of ringette, playing seven seasons with the Calgary Rath, and has extensive experience in strength and conditioning. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active through hiking, skiing, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.
