Madi Hartos MScPT, BA completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy through the University of Alberta and graduated with a degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology from the University of New Brunswick prior to that. During her time at UNB, Madi gained valuable experience coaching youth volleyball athletes and volunteering as a Therapy Assistant at the sports medicine clinic within the Canada Games Centre.
Madi grew up as a multi-sport athlete in Calgary and ultimately chose to play volleyball at a collegiate level while pursuing her undergraduate degree. Upon returning home, she resumed coaching youth volleyball and continued her athletic pursuits through CrossFit and Powerlifting. Her experiences as a high-level collegiate athlete as well as her time spent coaching has shaped her client-centered approach. Madi’s treatment approach focuses on exercise-based interventions, manual therapy, and patient education to help you return to activities you’re passionate about.
Madi believes in finding sustainable ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and she looks forward to working with clients to help them heal, thrive day to day, and achieve their goals long-term.
