Dr. Corey Finan, D.C., C.C.S.P. is a certified chiropractic sports practitioner who has been in practice since 2000. He breaks from traditional chiropractic practice to offer a more soft-tissue directed movement restoration practice. He has a passion for biomechanics and works to restore normal range of motion and remove pain by treating muscle and joint issues. He has participated in numerous certification courses since graduating, and now has several designations to go along with his undergraduate B.Sc., and his doctorate D.C. He has become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.), a Registered Massage Therapist (R.M.T.), a Master’s level Active Release Technique provider (A.R.T.), a Fascial Manipulation (FM) provider, a Graston Technique provider, a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) practitioner, a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) provider, a Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) provider, a certified Acupuncturist and provider of Dry Needling, and finally a Certified Level 1 Trainer in MovNat movement systems. He continues to evolve his skills, knowledge base, and patient care in the hopes of always delivering the best possible care to his patients. He strives to keep up to date with all soft-tissue and rehabilitation strategies so that he can deliver cutting edge treatment and advice to his patients.
Dr. Finan has treated players in the NHL and CFL, Olympians, Varsity Gymnasts, College Volleyball players, National level Swimmers, Elite Ironman triathletes, Ultra-Marathoners, and Recreational athletes as well. His motivation is seeing people able to compete at the sport they love, and living the life they want!
In his free time, he still loves playing hockey, ball hockey, ultimate Frisbee, and any other sports that he can. He spends most of his free time with his family, enjoying life each and every day.
