"Ten months ago I was considering selling my floral business as physically it was taking its toll on my body. After your treatment, I am now able to live comfortably, sleep well, and look forward to each new day. Dr. Dave, you truly are one of my heroes!"

What is Physiotherapy?

Freedom of Motion
When you are free to move--when you have mobility you feel better and enjoy life more. Physiotherapy is the primary care profession dedicated to enhancing and restoring that mobility. Physiotherapy's unique contribution to the health care stems from its advanced understanding of how the body moves, what keeps it from moving well and how to restore mobility.

Physiotherapists have the education, applied knowledge and treatment techniques to help you and your family:

Improve and maintain your physical mobility and independence.
Manage and reduce pain, physical limitations or disabilities that may limit your activities.
Improve your overall fitness, health and well-being.

What Physiotherapists do?

Your Physiotherapist will keep you moving
Your physiotherapist will follow four steps to keep you moving.
Assess your level of mobility, strength, endurance and other physical abilities to determine the impact of your condition on your physical function, whether at work, rest or play.
Diagnose your condition and develop a treatment plan to restore movement and reduce pain or limitations on your mobility. Together, you and your physiotherapist will agree on a plan that involves your active participation.
Treat your condition and help you understand its effect on your function. Your physiotherapist will measure your progress regularly and adjust your treatment according to your needs and preferences.
Advise you on how to manage your condition independently and prevent avoidable recurrences or complications.
Provide advice for more athletic training.
